[Via Satellite 08-26-13] Artel has been awarded a CTC COMSATCOM Transponded Capacity (CTC 0149) task order by the Defense Information Systems Agency Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DISA-DITCO), under the Future COMSATCOM Services Acquisition (FCSA), Schedule 70, SIN 132-54 contract.

The total contract value of $23 million includes one base-year of performance from June 24, 2013, through June 23, 2014, with four one-year options.

Artel will deliver Ku-band space segment to support the U.S. Air Forces Central Command (USAFCENT). In addition to the space segment provision, Artel will provide satellite link analysis, RF monitoring support, and Host Nation Approval (HNA) support for terminal licenses for operations in host countries. DISA-DITCO is utilizing this important procurement vehicle to deploy satellite bandwidth to USAFCENT in support of the warfighter.
