Boeing has filed a lawsuit worth more than $355 million against its three former partners in satellite launch provider Sea Launch, which last week failed to launch a Boeing-built Intelsat satellite.

The company claims that Rocket & Space Corp. Energia, a firm partly owned by the Russian government, and KB Yuzhnoye and PO Yuzhnoye Mashinostroitelny Zavod, two Ukrainian rocket companies, have failed to pay back loans.

Boeing said that its funding of nearly $450 million for Sea Launch, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2009, was supposed to be paid back.

According to the company, Energia owes $222 million and Yuzhnoye owes $133 million plus interests and attorney fees.
