Deluxe Music was launched in Germany in 2005 and its HD offering Deluxe Music HD will begin broadcasting Dec. 17 on the HD+ platform. HD+ was launched Nov. 1, 2009 and reaches over 2.8 million German TV households via the ASTRA satellite system, allowing these households to receive 15 free TV channels in HD quality. 

At no extra charge, customers with an HD+ set-top box can also receive another 18 HD channels.
