Nevion aims to upgrade the UPSTAR Comunicacoes network cost effectively and with industry-recognized reliability with a multi-product solution based on the Flashlink optical transport family, with increased channel capacity without adding electrical-to-optical conversion or wavelengths. The solution includes multiple 3G time division multiplexers/demultiplexers, allowing additional signal contribution through DWDM infrastructure and a redundant fiber link for signal transport over 150km.
