Sigourney Weaver to Speak at Space Technology Hall of Fame Dinner

[Satellite TODAY 12-03-12] The 29th National Space Symposium’s Space Technology Hall of Fame dinner presented by the Space Foundation will feature Academy Award nominated and Golden Globe winning actress Sigourney Weaver on April 11, 2013 at The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colo., the Foundation announced Dec. 3.

The annual Space Technology Hall of Fame aims to honor extraordinary technologies originally developed for space that now improve life here on Earth. The recipients for 2013 will be named early next year.

Co-sponsored by SpaceX, the dinner wraps up four days of Space Symposium activities and has previously featured speakers such as astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, Bill Nye the Science Guy, actor Leonard Nimoy and political satirist P.J. O’Rourke.
