Integral Systems to Provide Interference Geolocation Services to U.S. Stratcom
Integral Systems Service Solutions (IS3) was awarded a contract by the U.S. Strategic Command (U.S. Stratcom) to provide worldwide interference geolocation services to its U.S. Cyber Command (Cybercom) command subordinate, IS3 announced Nov. 4.
The deal will provide Cybercom with access to actionable information via IS3’s global network of Monics Digital Signal Processing monitoring sensors, satID geolocation systems and tri-band C-, X- and Ku-band antennas through September 2011.
The systems will aim to identify quickly and accurately, characterize and geolocate sources of unintentional or deliberate interference affecting leased commercial communication satellites.
Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
