Vizada launched the ThurayaIP broadband mobile satellite service, Vizada announced. The launch follows an extensive development phase with Thuraya to fine-tune the service and link it to Vizada’s network infrastructure.
    Additionally, Vizada, along with service provider partner SeaMobile Europe, have combined ThurayaIP with its own applications and solutions to provide a packaged service to the France24 news channel.
    The combination aims to enable France24 reporters to perform high-quality live broadcasts as well as send emails and use Internet from remote locations. France24 reporters use SeaMobile Europe’s Media ClipWay end-to-end software solution in order to send live and pre-recorded film over the ThurayaIP terminal.
