[09/07/07 – Satellite Today] Swe-Dish will demonstrate its CommuniCase technology, which allows users to quickly interchange parts and improve flexibility, at IBC2007, the company announced Sept. 6.

The technology enables broadcasters, military personnel and emergency first responders to change arts such as integrated modems. The Suitcase CCT90 represents the next generation of ultra-portable terminals. The first model, the IPT Suitcase, earned prainse gtom military and government organizations around the world after being used in conflict areas and by disaster relief organizations in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina and the Asian tsunami in 2004.

“The introduction of CommuniCase Technology and products such as the Suitcase CCT90 represent major advancements in portable satellite technology,”said Lars Jehrlander, CEO, SWE-DISH.“These innovations are in response to the needs of organizations that require great speed and mobility, and we will continue to work side-by-side with them to evolve technology that delivers broadband communications anywhere it is needed.”

DataPath’s MaxView network management software, a solution used by leading broadcasters, satellite operators, media carriers and military organizations around the world, will also be highlighted in the Swe-Dish booth at IBC2007. With MaxView, network operators can control any network element, device or application to provide high-quality, uninterrupted media services to customers.
