GMV, a private, multinational firm headquartered in Madrid, increased overall revenues by 18 percent, or $90.6 million, in 2006, the company announced July 10.

The company’s space and defense segment, which represent about 64 percent of total revenues, saw a 15.5 percent increase in revenue to $55.7 million.

GMV supplies satellite ground system software for customers around the globe, including Galileo, for which GMV received contracts valued at more than $54 million in 2006.
