Eutelsat Communications finalized a five-year deal with Gateway Broadcast Services for capacity on the W3A satellite, Eutelsat announced June 29.

Gateway Broadcast will use the Ku-band capacity on W3A’s African beam to launch a pay-TV platform for sub-Saharan Africa. GTV will provide 15 channels of content and be available in as many as 48 sub-Saharan African countries.
