Zoombak is the new name for the former Connectid, a mobile location-based services company and subsidiary of Liberty Media Corp.

The change is part a wider rebranding initiative by the New York-based Zoombak’s focus on providing location-based products and services aimed especially toward private consumers and families.

A rollout of consumer mobile-communications products leveraging wireless technology ansd location-based services is planned for later in 2007.
