Intelsat Ltd. has signed a multi-year agreement with Shop Latino TV for program distribution into the North American cable market through Intelsat’s Galaxy neighborhood, Intelsat announced May 8. 

Intelsat will provide hybrid transmission services for Shop Latino, a 24-hour Hispanic shopping network. Programming will originate from Shop Latino TV’s Miami, Fla., studios and will be backhauled via Intelsat’s fiber network to a teleport in Ellenwood, Ga.
