Norsat International Inc. has unveiled its next-generation family of ultra-portable satellite newsgathering terminals, the company announced April 17.

Packaged in rugged, wheelable, self-contained cases to comply with International Air Transport Associaton requirements, the system meets stringent checked-baggage restrictions imposed by leading airlines including British Airways, American, Delta, Lufthansa, KLM and others.

The terminal’s design facilitates grab-and-go applications, as it is suited for transport in small helicopters, planes and cars.
