Asian conglomerate APT Satellite confirmed on April 5 the appointment of New York-based Carlton Hedges & Associates as their U.S. tax attorneys, a move which seemingly confirms speculation that APT Satellite is planning to enter the American market.

Having started its operations in 1992, APT Satellite mainly provides services for satellite transponders, satellite communication and satellite TV broadcasting to broadcasting and telecommunication sectors in Asia, Europe and the United States.
