[3/26/07] Eagle Broadband Inc., a national provider of broadband, Internet protocol (IP) and digital communications technology and services, has acquired the commercial satellite division of Alliance Maintenance & Services Inc., a business with over $1 million in annual revenue, Eagle Broadband announced March 23.

The deal includes Alliance’s Telecom Services arm, which provides installation and services to various commercial customers in the telecommunications industry. The core business is installation of VSAT and broadband satellite systems, providing copper and fiber network infrastructure, and network support services including moves, adds, changes (MACs), demarcation point extensions, router installations and hardware upgrades.
