GlobeCast, a subsidiary of France Telecom, signed a five-year deal with international sports broadcaster Setanta Sports to distribute six channels to the Sky, Virgin Media, BT Vision and DTT platforms.

The multichannel offering includes the creation and management of a bespoke multiplex system for the new bouquet, expansion of Setanta’s existing fiber network and capacity on the Eurobird satellite at 28.5º East for uplink to the Sky Digital platform.
