Network integration firm Core180 Inc. received a subcontract from Virginia-based Arrowhead Global Solutions Inc. to provide bandwidth management for a project for the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN), Arrowhead announced March 20.

The DISN Access Transport Service (DATS) project will connect about 500 military bases, reserve stations, posts and camps in the United States, providing network capacity for unclassified voice, data and video capabilities.

The contract has a three-year base period and seven one-year options. If all options are exercised, the project could be valued at up to $3 billion.
