[3/15/07] Eutelsat Communications confirmed March 14 that its broadcast clients of the HotBird-2 satellite had been transferred to HotBird-8.
 
The precautionary switch, with no change in reception parameters for DTH homes or cable operators, was carried out after an anomaly was observed in HotBird-2’s power subsystem.

The anomaly remained under full investigation, Eutelsat reported.
