Spirent Communications has developed its GSS7900 GPS/Galileo Simulation System, which will support testing of free-to-use signals from both GPS and Galileo systems, the company announced March 5.

The simulator is derived from Spirent’s GSS7700 GPS simulator and the GSS7800 Galileo simulator developed in 2006 to support testing of the Galileo Ground Mission Segment and Test User Segment programs.
