XM Satellite Radio has signed with the Southeastern Conference (SEC) for a five-year broadcast and marketing agreement by which XM will become the official satellite radio provider of the SEC, broadcasting basketball, football and other sports to subscribers nationwide.

Along with most conference regular-season games, the broadcaster will provide complete live coverage of SEC championships, starting with this year’s SEC men’s basketball tournament, being held March 8 through 11.
