Trace Systems LLC, a McLean, Va.-based, wireless-communications provider, has been selected by D&S Consultants Inc. of Freehold, N.J., to support delivery of information technology and tactical edge network services to the U.S. Army, Trace Systems announced March 5.

D&S is providing systems engineering, integration, communications, and information technology services as well as application development and information assurance services under the $5 billion Worldwide Satellite Systems contract vehicle.

Trace Systems will provide systems integration support as well as products, services and integrated L-band mobile satellite services.

The value of the contract was not disclosed
