Hughes Network Systems LLC will provide a broadband satellite solution for Islamabad, Pakistan-based Orocom Ltd., a technology systems provider, Hughes announced March 5.

The system will enable Orocom to deliver customized broadband services, including voice, data and video to customers throughout Pakistan and the neighboring region. Orocom will begin delivering the service by the end of March and plans to expand service to Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Central Asian States and North Africa.

The value of the contract was not disclosed.
