GlobeCast signed a deal with U.K-based Baby Network to deliver the Baby TV on the BSkyB direct-to-home platform via capacity on the Eurobird satellite. Launched as part of Sky’s Kids Mix programming, Baby TV is a children’s channel broadcast in more than 40 countries and 10 different languages around the world.

GlobeCast has tailored a system for Baby TV featuring satellite downlink of the channel from the HotBird satellite, to GlobeCast’s London technical operations center. The signals are encrypted then uplinked to the Sky Digital platform via the Eurobird satellite at 28.5º East.
