China Mobile Broadcasting Satellite Ltd., a Hong Kong-based affiliate of EchoStar Communications Corp. will provide S-band satellite capacity for a mobile video project in China slated to launch prior to the 2008 Olympics, the company announced Feb. 22.

The contract was awarded by China Satellite Mobile Broadcast Ltd., a company held under Wireless Bureau of China’s State Administration of Radio, Film, and TV.
