DigitalGlobe Names VP Of Software And Systems

DigitalGlobe has appointed Steve Milton as vice president of software and systems.
    Milton will direct DigitalGlobe’s software and systems business office, leading the development of software systems supporting the operations and distribution of geospatial content.
    Milton most recently was CTO at Enservio Inc., and prior to that worked at Andersen Consulting, Nuance and Trilogy.

SkyTerra Names CEO, CFO

SkyTerra Communications Inc. named Alexander Good CEO and president and Scott Macleod executive vice president, CFO and treasurer.
    Good will continue in his current role as vice chairman and CEO of Mobile Satellite Ventures LP (MSV), the principal operating subsidiary of SkyTerra. Macleod will also continue to serve in his current role as CFO of MSV.
    Good previously served as executive vice president of Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) and as a member of the company’s executive committee.
From 2003 to 2006, Macleod was managing director responsible for Rothschild’s North American Telecom practice.

XM Board Adds Board Member

XM Satellite Radio announced that Joan Lordi Amble has joined the company’s board of directors. Amble serves as executive vice president and corporate comptroller for American Express Co.
