NDS, which supplies conditional access and middleware solutions to satellite pay-TV operators, has completed its acquisition of Jungo Ltd., NDS announced.

NDS declared in December that it had reached agreement to acquire 100 percent of the share capital of Jungo for about $110 million.

The move should boost NDS’s prospects in the Internet protocol TV market. One of Jungo’s main product offerings is OpenRG, an integrated middleware software platform for deployment on network devices in the digital home and small office, including triple-play residential gateways, home and small office/home office routers, wireless access points, cable/DSL routers and voice gateways.
