Andrew Corp. Names VP
Andrew Corp. has promoted Bill Casey to vice president, corporate marketing and communications and customer care. Prior to joining Andrew in 2005, Casey held management positions at Flarion, Ibiquity, Philips, Alphatel and AT&T.
SES New Skies Names CEO
Robert Bednarek has been named president and CEO of SES New Skies. Bednarek joined SES Global in January 2002, initially serving as executive vice president of corporate development and as a member of the executive committee. Prior to that, Bednarek had been with Panamsat.
He replaces Dan Goldberg who
left SES New Skies to become CEO of Telesat Canada.
Caprock Communications Selects VP and general Counsel
Caprock Communications has appointed Alan Aronowitz vice president and general counsel. Aronowitz will serve as the company’s chief legal officer responsible for all legal and compliance matters involving the company and its subsidiaries.
Prior to joining Caprock, Aronowitz most recently served as vice president and general counsel of a global business unit of a multinational diversified energy services company. He also has served as the assistant city
attorney in Houston, and as an attorney for Locke Liddell Sapp LLP. He serves on the board of directors of the Houston Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counse
Cerona Adds To Board Of Directors
Cerona Networks Corp., a Maryland-based manufacturer of satellite communications ground equipment, has added John Baras to its board.
Baras holds a joint appointment as professor in the University of Maryland’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Institute for Systems Research. Baras also is the Lockheed
Martin chair in Systems Engineering and the founding and current director of the
Maryland Hybrid Networks Center.
