Orange UK will launch a GPS navigation system for corporate customers that will be powered by Webraska, a provider of mobile GPS navigation systems and geospatial software for wireless carriers and service providers, Webraska announced Nov. 2.

Available through Orange Business Services, Sat-Nav from Orange provides maps and traffic updates that are held on a central Webraska server and downloadable from the Internet to a mobile device via Wi-Fi, 3G, GPRS or the Orange Edge network.

The Orange offering is comprised of a Bluetooth GPS receiver, car cradle, in-car charger and a lifetime license for the navigation software. It is compatible with a wide range of Blackberry, Nokia, Sony Ericsson and HTC/SPV Smartphones and personal-digital-assistant (PDA) phones.
