Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) has signed a “multi-year” deal with DTH operator The Arab Radio and Television Satellite Network (ART).

Three separate 24-hour channels will offer CNN International, Cartoon Network and TCM (Turner Classic Movies) on ART’s channel packages, which launch this month. The TBS channels will reach tens of thousands of new households across the Middle East on both Arabsat and NileSat, said TBS.

“ART is extending its bouquet across the Middle East and the inclusion of CNN along with an extended Cartoon Network and TCM is welcomed by all viewers” said Dr John Tydeman, CEO of Arab Digital Distribution, the bouquet management and distribution company for the ART Network.
