PhoenixNet Ltd. signed an agreement with Yahoo! Hong Kong to provide broadband-enabled services via satellite across the Asia Pacific region.

According to the agreement, PhoenixNet will provide Yahoo! Hong Kong with collocation services, facilitating the distribution of broadband content to Internet service providers through PhoenixNet’s satellite network across the Asia Pacific region.

Yahoo! Hong Kong will provide PhoenixNet with popular Yahoo! content and services in both English and Chinese for its SpeedCast homepage. Yahoo! Inc. [YHOO] is also taking a minority equity stake in PhoenixNet.
