Austrian public broadcaster ORF has delayed the launch of its marketing campaign for the digital satellite feed of its domestic TV channels ORF1 and ORF2 on Astra (19.2 degrees East) from August to September 1. The channels will be encrypted in the d-box system Betacrypt. Due to copyright reasons, only Austrian residents can obtain smartcards. The satellite feed targets homes in rural areas that get a poor terrestrial picture.
