TELENOR FREQUENCY REVAMP
Telenor is to introduce its long awaited reshuffle of frequencies at its One degree West slot on September 5, 2000. The change will make way for new channels and services, and, according to a statement from the company, “to optimise the digital distribution of channels to cable networks.” One such benefit will be the consolidation of single country services onto dedicated transponders. This will ease distribution for cable operators and SMATV systems.
