Wayne Kauffman has joined Spectrum Astro Inc. as director of West Coast operations, responsible for managing the Manhattan Beach, Calif., office. He will be the company’s liaison with its West Coast customers and will work to expand its government and civil customers.

Before joining Spectrum Astro, Kauffman was vice president for information systems at Psomas, a design and engineering company in West Los Angeles, and earlier he was president and CEO of Xymox Systems Inc., a software product company that supplies business software to a diverse group of industrial customers.
