Pace Micro Technology has signed an MoU with Microsoft to co-operate on the development of applications and enabling technologies for digital TV. Microsoft is to adopt Pace’s set top technology as a core reference platform, while the two will co-operate in developing applications. The UK set top maker’s shares rose sharply on the announcement.
