Nilesat is now carrying ten free-to-air news channels. Al Jazeera, beamed from Qatar, is the latest addition and was added on May 1. Also on Nilesat is the top-rated news coverage from the recently revamped MBC. Nile News carries news broadcasts from Cairo in Arabic, English and French. Also recently added is Dubai Business Channel. ANN beams its news coverage from London. LBC, besides entertainment, is also popular for its Beirut-based news output. International channels from CNNI, Euronews and BBC World are available, while Bloomberg is part of the Showtime network.
