Radio Television Espanola (RTVE), France Télévision and RAI plan to launch a new thematic channel on arts and lifestyle in the Mediterranean. It will also offer programming on travel, cuisine, leisure and DIY. RTVE is also to provide Spanish embassies and consulates in America with receivers so they receive RTVE’s digital package, including TVE Internacional, Canal 24 Horas, Hispavision, Radio 1, Radio Clasica, Radio 3, Radio 5 Todo Noticias and Radio Exterior de Espana. They will also get other TV channels such as the Catalan, Vasc and Gallega television and radio stations. RTVE’s channels will also be receivable in the North West American coast by the Telstar satellite.
