Fremont, Calif.-based SSE Telecom Inc. [SSET] is shipping additional beta-test systems of its new iP3 broadband satellite Internet gateway platform. The first iP3 beta test systems, shipped by SSET two months ago, have been installed successfully and tested at an unnamed European service provider and a major European network integrator. The latest shipments were to an unidentified U.S.-based provider of satellite-delivered Internet connectivity.

The iP3 gateway is a satellite Internet transport solution for broadband traffic, according to SSET. The system is designed to play a key role in broadband transport infrastructure for Internet service providers and corporate IP network integrators.
