Studio Universal, the second German-language channel operated by Universal after 13th Street, launched, as planned, on 1 September at 2200 CET with Pulp Fiction. The pay-TV channel, part of DF1, which moves into Premiere Worldis movie package on October 1, shows movies of all genres from classics to blockbusters and independent films. Each day the prime-time slot at 2015 CET is reserved for a specific genre. Studio Universal can be received by DF1is DTH customers on Astra (19.2 degrees East) on transponder 84 (12.090 GHz V, SR 27.500, FEC 3/4). The feed to Deutsche Telekomis cable networks is present on DFS Kopernikus 1 FM 3 (23.5 degrees East), transponder A1 (11.466 GHz H, SR 27.500, FEC 3/4).
