Requtech, a Swedish technology company, has unveiled the RESA L KA, a Ka-band multi-orbit land mobility terminal. The terminal aims to operate seamlessly across Geostationary Orbit (GEO) and Medium-Earth Orbit (MEO) networks and is prepared for the upcoming Ka-band LEO networks. Requtech announced details of the terminal on June 17.

The terminal has SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power) metrics of 81 x 45 x 11 cm and 25 kg. The next phase for the RESA L Ka terminal includes rigorous certification processes with satellite operators. With initial pre-series production underway, the satellite communication technology provider anticipates general availability by the first quarter of 2025.
