Exotrail has won a new contract with the French government to deliver bespoke simulation and mission analysis software to the French Space Command (CDE). The contract is with the Defence Innovation Agency (AID), an organization that is part of the French Ministry of Defence.
Exotrail will provide a customized and enhanced version of its ExoOPSTM software product dedicated to simulation and mission analysis to the CDE. The aim is for CDE operators to have a more comprehensive understanding of the space environment they operate in.
“This is a great honor and privilege for Exotrail to have been selected by the Defence Innovation Agency and the French Space Command to support building space capability. Being able to combine our ExoOPSTM – Mission Design product with agile product development techniques is the perfect match and a truly innovative and disruptive way of delivering a solution for the French Ministry of Defence,” Sébastien Duménil, Exotrail’s chief commercial officer said in a statement.
The deal was announced May 11. Financial terms were not disclosed.
