[Via Satellite 01-26-2017] The Mobile Satellite Users Association (MSUA) has announced its 2017 board of directors and new corporate and small business members. MSUA is a nonprofit association dedicated to promoting satellite mobility innovation and fostering an exchange of information between providers and users on all matters related to mobility market development.

New members of the board include Todd Hill, senior director of satellite services at Panasonic Global Communication Services (GCS) as well as new members from Roadpost, MVS USA and CLS America.

The 2017 MSUA board of directors will begin on Feb. 1 and will also include: Ghani Behloul, chief marketing officer at Marlink; Rebecca Cowen-Hirsch, senior vice president of government strategy and policy, U.S. government business unit at Inmarsat; Piers Cunningham, vice president of maritime services at Speedcast; Kim Bille Gram, vice president of new business development at Cobham Satcom; Geoff Hall, CEO at Cedarwood Associates International (CAI); Mark Lewellen, manager of spectrum advocacy at John Deere; Matthew Mohebbi, vice president and general manager at Hughes Network Systems; John Stolte, executive vice president of technology and operations at Orbcomm; Mark Sykes, director at Applied Satellite Technology (AST); Joel Thompson, vice president and general manager of the terrestrial business unit at Iridium; and Kevin M. West, director of government services for North America at Thuraya.
