[Via Satellite 02-27-2014] ETL Systems is planning to open a new office in Dubai in order to grow its presence in the Middle East. This will allow ETL to provide faster technical and sales consultancy support to customers. Mather Al-Ali has been selected to manage the technical and sales support office, which will cover the Middle East and North Africa. He brings more than 18 years of sales management and satcoms RF experience within the broadcast and surveillance markets.
ETL has also announced its plans to launch a new range of products that deliver RF over fiber, which will be demonstrated at CABSAT 2014. Today, more satellite teleports require short distance fiber links, which ETL is now developing to provide a high level of redundancy.
ETL will also display its 128×128 high density Vulcan matrix, a compact matrix with high-level RF performance, at CABSAT 2014. This RF matrix is designed for larger satellite teleports and for distribution of a high volume of L-band signals in broadcast or government locations.
