Ovzon has appointed André Löfgren as its new CFO. Löfgren will start the role at the beginning of May. Löfgren will also be a member of Ovzon’s group management. The company’s interim CFO Viktor Bremer will continue within the company as group finance manager. Ovzon announced the appointment, Feb. 11.

Löfgren previously worked for construction company Skanska and Skanska’s housing concept BoKlok, co-developed with IKEA. Ovzon cited his experience in building international businesses as a strength.

“I am thrilled to be joining the team at Ovzon during this very exciting phase of the company’s scale-up. While many significant milestones have been achieved in recent years, I look forward using my experience and leadership to drive profitable growth by supporting international expansion. As well as creating long-term stability through disciplined financial management and control”, Löfgren, said in a statement.

In other Ovzon news, the company received a renewal for delivery of the company’s Satcom-as-a-Service (SaaS) to the Italian Fire and Rescue Services. The 12-month order will be delivered throughout 2025. The order value amounts to $500,000. This is the third consecutive year for Ovzon to support the Italian Fire and Rescue Services.
