UltiSat CEO David Myers is stepping down from the position at the end of the year, Myers announced on LinkedIn on Monday. The company’s Chief Strategy Officer Jim Scott will lead the company starting in January.
Myers has led UltiSat, the government subsidiary of Speedcast, since August 2020. He has had previous leadership roles at Peraton, DataPath, ITC Global, Harris CapRock Communications, and other companies.
“UltiSat is a unique company comprised of dedicated professionals passionate about satellite, wireless, and tactical networking solutions,” Myers wrote. “UltiSat is in very capable hands with our Chief Strategy Officer, Jim Scott, taking the reins starting in January. It has been an honor to be part of such a tremendous team, and I will continue to be the company’s biggest fan, cheering from the sidelines.”
UltiSat provides communications and networking to government, humanitarian-aid and critical infrastructure markets. The company is one of the few companies authorized to resell Starlink to the U.S. government provides Starlink U.S government and international humanitarian organizations
