Lavoie has experience with both large publicly traded and privately owned companies. He has worked for Pratt and Whitney, Bombardier, Bombardier Transportation, and global automotive supplier Woodbridge Group.
MDA is going through a period of growth while executing on the Telesat Lightspeed constellation contract. The manufacturer is currently working to double its satellite manufacturing capability in Quebec.
“With our continued growth and increased customer demand for the full range of MDA Space capabilities and products, Guillaume’s deep capital markets and financial management experience will help drive ongoing value creation for MDA Space shareholders,” commented MDA Space CEO Mike Greenley.
