Terran Orbital is making changes to its executive team, hiring a new COO, CFO, and chief accounting officer (CAO). The company announced Wednesday that Peter Krauss will join Terran Orbital as COO.
Krauss has been a senior advisor to Terran Orbital since January. He was recently working as a business consultant as founder of PMK Consulting, and previously led payment card company Arroweye Solutions as CEO, and led Plasticard Locktech International as CEO.
In his new role at Terran Orbital, Krauss will oversee all engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, business development, and marketing functions, as well as our international operations.
Terran Orbital said that current COO Tony Gingiss, who joined the company last year after Virgin Orbit’s bankruptcy, is leaving the company. Gingiss will provide strategic advisory services to the company until his departure on July 15.
Terran Orbital also hired Adarsh Parekh as CFO and Mathieu Riffel as CAO. Parekh previously served as CFO of Alio, Inc., a medical technology company. Mathieu Riffel has worked for the company since 2021, most recently serving as acting CFO.
“All three executives have proven track records in operational efficiency, financial discipline, and growth acceleration,” commented President, CEO, and Chairman Marc Bell. “Their leadership will be instrumental in our strategy to streamline our operations, optimize financial performance, and drive profitable revenue growth. This strategic strengthening of our leadership team reinforces our commitment to delivering value to our shareholders.”
Terran Orbital is currently going through a strategic review. Earlier this year, Lockheed Martin made, then withdrew, an offer to take over Terran Orbital.
