Can Marine Systems signed a deal with Eutelsat Communications for access to satellite connectivity over the Asia-Pacific region. Under the agreement announced Tuesday, Can Marine Systems has access to Eutelsat Advance, the operator’s managed service offering that bundles Geostationary Orbit (GEO) and Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) capacity.
Can Marine Systems provides maritime systems in Asia. Eutelsat said the deal will increase connectivity for maritime businesses operating at sea including cargo shipping, passenger ferries, and offshore.
Eutelsat debuted Advance, an end-to-end managed connectivity service for maritime, aviation, enterprise, government, and telecom markets, two years ago.
