[Satellite TODAY 04-07-10] Blue Sky Network has signed a flight tracking technology deal with Brazilian airline company TAM Executive Aviation (TAM EA) to provide automated flight following and communication equipment for its fleet of planes, Blue Sky announced April 6.
    TAM EA will use Blue Sky’s newly launched D410A tracking device to better monitor and manage its flights and consequently improve operational safety and efficiency.
    “We chose Blue Sky Network because it provided the most comprehensive flight logistics solution for our needs. The hardware, software and network components are well supported in our country,” TAM EA Manager Samuel di Pietro said in a statement.
    Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
