Blue Sky’s SkyRouter Web portal will work in coordination with the D1000A to transmit satellite messages to and from aircraft en route or flight managers on the ground in the form of GPS position reports on take-offs and landings, two-way text messages, or telemetric data reports.
Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
