Anywaves launched its first in-house production of space antennas and payloads through pilot lines, the company announced on March 27.
Anywaves, located in Toulouse, France, specializes in designing, developing, and manufacturing space antennas for satellite constellations and launchers. The company delivered its 1,000th product in summer 2024.
The company opened a 500 square meter site in Toulouse for its expansion, including a cleanroom. The company plans for additional production sites worldwide. Anywayves said the new site embraces a digitalized and automated approach to production and will serve as a model for future production lines. The company is collaborating with Anyfields for antenna performance measurement and Connektica for production digitalization and automation.
Anywaves said a “significant” share of its revenue is generated in the United States. The company said the development is a testament to the “strong and long-standing cooperation” between the U.S. and Europe in the space industry.
“Mastering the entire design and production chain of our space antennas and modular payloads in-house aligns both with our industrial ambition and commercial objectives. From radiofrequency testing to product assembly, Anywaves teams will now be at the forefront, ensuring the performance and reliability of our antennas before transferring them to our partners,” Anywaves Founder and President Nicolas Capet said.
The company’s industrial strategy aims to secure the production of thousands of space antennas and RF modular payloads starting in 2025.
